Greener Pastures recommends using the Salesforce Authenticator App to satisfy the MFA Requirement.
Here are some steps to get started with Salesforce Authenticator:
From the Home Screen in Salesforce
Login to Salesforce. Click your avatar at the top right corner, then click “Settings.”
Connect to Salesforce Authenticator from Advanced User Details
Click “Advanced User Details” on the left toolbar. Scroll down to “App Registration: Salesforce Authenticator” and click “Connect.”
Verify Your Identity via Email
You will be asked to verify your identity via email. Enter the code you receive into the Verification Code box and click “Verify.”
Salesforce Authenticator App
Download the Salesforce Authenticator app onto your mobile device.
Open the Salesforce Authenticator App. You can click “Skip Tour” and go straight to adding an account. Click “Add an Account.” You can authenticate multiple accounts.
A two word phrase will appear on the Authenticator app. Enter that phrase into the “Connect to Salesforce Authenticator” screen in your browser and click “Connect.”
Approve and Login
You will see a message in your browser to check your mobile device.
Approve the connection request on your Salesforce Authenticator App by clicking “Connect.”
You should see a green checkmark in your browser indicating that you successfully logged in!
