Check and Modify Recipients, if necessary
The first Signer should autopopulate to include the Opportunity Contact. The second Signer should autopopulate to include the BioTrack Opportunity owner. If you choose to add a different signer, Create New Recipient. This will not add a new contact to Salesforce. The signing order should be Customer recipient first and BioTrack Opportunity owner second.
After the Customer Signs, Check that All Fields are Filled Out
Before countersigning, check over the document to ensure that the first signer did not omit anything.
- Customer Information
- Authorized Business Address(es)
- Payment Method
- Signature and Date
- Credit Card Authorization with Name (If applicable)
If there is an error and the recipient needs to edit, Cancel the transaction and alert the Customer signer.
Countersign the Document
You will need to click “I Agree” to agree to the Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure. Then Click “Complete Signing.”
Instructions for downloading as PDF will be emailed to you, and also available on the Salesforce Opportunity in the “Files” as SIGNED – {Opportunity name here}SalesOrder.pdf

Tasks / Email Notifications
- There will be a task on the Opportunity in Salesforce reminding you to follow up with the customer if the document has not been signed after one week.
- There will be a task on the Opportunity for you to Review and Countersign the Sales Order after it has been signed by the customer.
- You will receive email notifications that the document has been sent, viewed and also after the customer has signed. A final notification will be sent to both signers after the document is completed, with the signed document as an attachment.
